Introducing the Safe Cap from Hydrant Care -

• Guards against high pressure – Safer for Water Personnel and the General Public.

• Alerts if there is an issue – if water coming out of the cap, then there is a problem, allows hydrant to be inspected,

• helps to ensure operating hydrants

• when hydrant is in use the micro check valve will check itself when resudual pressure is < 29psi.

• Will not interfere with Fire Department operations-does not “add a step”

• Additional aid to the fire fighters – bleeds air, reduces pressure after intake is closed,

•Safer to remove supply line from hydrant, provides a visual aid to show water flow has stopped inside the hydrant.

•Getting a quality side cap – 6061 hard anodized aluminum

•Chains can be used as intended without the usual issues of binding- never paint a cap again
